Miss Jane Johnston, the Practice Manager, attends to the day-to-day administrative problems in the practice and co-ordinates the work of the other staff.

She will be pleased to help if you have any problems and welcomes suggestions on how we can improve your medical services.

Secretarial/Reception Staff

Our team of Secretarial and reception staff include: Miss Julie Brand,
Mrs Linda Tennant, Mrs Nicola Martin, Mrs Elaine Ross, Mrs Jill Preston,
Miss Joanna Ross and Miss Tracy Henderson and they are happy to help you at reception and on the telephone. The above members of staff, all have specific roles within the practice and the receptionist will direct your call to the most appropriate person.

Practice Nurses

We have a team of four nurses working here at the Health Centre, Cockenzie who are highly experienced Practice Nurses.

Mrs Kathleen Eccles RGN, Dip. Family Planning and Mrs Etta Aitken RGN Dip HE, Dip. Family Planning, can be consulted in the Treatment Room, Monday – Friday 9.00am – 12.30pm and 2.00pm – 5.30pm. One of them is always available to help and advise you throughout the working day of the Practice.

Mrs Diane Fyffe RGN, Dip. Family Planning, Dip. Heart Disease and Prevention, Foundation Course in Travel Health can be seen on a Monday, Thursday or Friday morning.

Mrs Moyra Statham RGN, attends to our patients with a history of Chronic Disease. The patients are invited to come and see Moyra normally on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Our surgery at Longniddry is covered by Mrs Julie Cairns RGN, Practice Nurse and Mrs Shirley Johnston, receptionist.
One of them is available to help between 9.00am – 12.45pm Monday to Friday.
