I grew up and studied medicine in Marseille, where I qualified in 2000. After completing my GP training I worked as a medical volunteer with a medical humanitarian organisation, Doctors of the World (“Médecins du Monde”), in Afghanistan and Haiti. Then, I settled down in Paris, and I worked as a GP in a rural area for 10 years (in Picardy), and also as a physician in a hospital palliative care support team in the same region.
I moved to Scotland with my spouse and our two daughters in 2017, to spend one year as a visiting research fellow at the University of Edinburgh. I love general practice because it allows us to meet people before they become patients… and we do so within their own community. I have been privileged to meet people sharing the same passion as me at Harbours practice.
Outside of work I like swimming, playing piano, and enjoying time with friends and family (including our two cats).
