Travel Vaccinations

If you think you may require travel vaccinations for a trip abroad, please fill out the online form before coming to see the nurse. A double appointment (per person requiring vaccinations) should be made with the Nurse 10 – 14 days following submitting the form. The Nurse will produce a schedule for vaccines and provide travel information for the country you are intending to visit. You should endeavour to leave a contact telephone number so that the Nurse can call you back if necessary.

If vaccinations are required for other reasons you should make an appointment with the Practice Nurse to discuss this. We do keep a stock of vaccinations in the treatment room but some vaccinations need to be given on prescription and therefore need to be given at a future appointment.

To help us offer the appropriate advice, please fill out the online form before coming to see the nurse.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required available on the Fit For Travel website
