Mental Health
CWIC Mental Health Team
If you, or someone you know, are feeling anxious, depressed or have other worries about mental health, you can call the CWIC Mental Health Team. An experienced worker will take your details and make an appointment for you to speak directly to a specialist mental health practitioner, who will ring you back at a time that is convenient for you within the next 36 hours. The practitioner will talk to you over the phone and provide help and support and sometimes a referral on to other services such as the Community Mental Health Team. The service is only available to those over 18 years old registered with an East Lothian GP practice. There is no need to speak to a GP first.
Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
