Nurses

• Mrs Julie Cairns
• Mrs Salim Buckley

Julie & Salim are our fantastic practice nurses. They are responsible for helping you with Long-Term Conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension & COPD. They provide contraception advice & prescriptions and perform cervical smears. They are also experts in wound care, dressings, and ulcer management…..and oh so much more!

Julie and Salim can be consulted in the treatment room Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 12:30 and 14:00 – 17:30. One of them is always available to help and advise you throughout the working day of the practice.

Healthcare Assistants

We would be lost without Elaine & Mary and your arm would be even more sore! As well as taking blood samples, Elaine also manages our FLO home blood pressure monitoring service, whilst Mary, as a semi-retired practice & district nurse, helps with nursing clinics when needed.

Pharmacist

• Stephanie Henderson

Steph is our practice pharmacist. She is responsible for organising prescription changes after outpatient appointments or discharge from hospital. She helps the GPs and nurses with prescription queries and liaises with community pharmacies about any problems such as supply issues.
