How to send us pictures...

  • Sending us a picture really helps in diagnosing and managing your condition appropriately. 
  • By sending us pictures, you are also agreeing for them to be shared with a specialist if we require their advice.
  • We may also include relevant information such as your name, age, NHS number and any health problems you may have. 
  • The information will only be seen by healthcare staff who are trained in confidentiality, and will be uploaded to your record for future reference.

Please only send a picture if asked to do so by your GP

 

When taking your photographs...

  • Use a clear background and good overhead lighting
  • Take an overview photo followed by one or two close-ups
  • You can use a ruler or tape measure to show size in your close-up pictures
  • Ensure the images are in focus
